And just we did.Our Jhole Bala Baba just birth anniversary was ahead after a day of Chacha Nehru’s birthday 14th of November.
Yesterday on 15 th of November we all davians were celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma N.D.Grover a true arya samaji who loved the children too much.
He used to have toffees and chocolates in his khadi Jhola and used to distribute them among them.That is why he was much popular and known as the Jholebala Baba.
Life Sketch* Just remembering Mahatma Narayan Das Grover was born on 15th November, 1923 at Isakhel in Pakistan.

Having obtained his master degree in Chemistry from Punjab University, he joined as lecturer in D.A.V. College, Lahore in 1945.
After the national split, he resumed his service in DAV College, Ambala City and served there till 1960. He had the proud privilege to be the founder Principal of D.A.V. College, Abohar, Distt.- Ferozepur, Punjab.

During his tenure, from 1960 to 1977, he established several educational institutions in its campus for which it is known as ‘Mini University’. He served as the Principal in Dayanand Post Graduate College, Hissar (Haryana) from 1977 to 1982.
He adopted the life membership of DAV Society, the rarest contribution given to the Arya Samaj, in 1957. He also served as the Vice President of DAV C.M.C. New Delhi.

Morning Assembly * By today itself in the morning assembly with the remembering of Mahatma we decided to do the same distribution of biscuits among the deprived children of the downtrodden dalit society.
Under the guidance of a Davian Alpana our students Adya, Abhilasha, and Virat determined to visit distributed the biscuits while visiting the slum area.

Really we felt the same feeling and happiness of Mahatma by giving them biscuits. Before that by rising of the sun in the school morning assembly we all together remembered him too by offering him a floral tribute.
